The end!

The year is running, the course is finishing, and thus the subject of English.

I will probably continue some time with this blog, because every time I publish a post I realize how things you can incorporate, and why not, how much things you can bring to the people.
It has been an original method for practicing our writing in English and then we have learned to construct sentences and make them to sound good. I find interesting the huge blogs net, where to share and discover how many things the people want to show us.

Well, now I have to prepare the exams, so see you later!

        Exams are coming and the end of the classes and on Monday We did the writing about the worker woman in the history and now. This is an important topic because the woman are very undervalued.

     On Tuesday we started with the presentation with differents and very interesting topics of my mates, then we learned to write a letter.

Start Unit 5 POLLUTION

Hello friends!

This week,Thursday December 9th, we started "Práctica de aula 8" and practised a prefixes and suffixes, and we remember and learned many things.eg:

- Negative Prefixes 
- Nouns, Adverbs and Adjectives
- Adjectives with suffixe



On Tuesday we finished Unit 4 Sources of energy.And we did the next unit dealing with pollution. This is an important issue ,because everything has to go somewhere, and we have to mentalizing that trash pollutes much. In this class we did a listening that deals of the car pollution.

Start Unit 4 SOURCES OF ENERGY!

Hello everybody!

November ends... And we on Monday finished practice 6 Check answers and 7 Phrasal verbs and watched a video about renewable energy the efficient house.

The next day on Tuesday We started with brainstorming of the new Unit 4 "Sources of energy"  this unit specifically deals Solar energy. The first thing we did is a exercise of four renewable energy technologies in the UK.And we discussed all sources of energy.   Then we read a text of solar energy  did called word study       We finished with a listening of a power station in France.

Finish Unit 3 Business

Hello lads,

Are you having a good time? This week on Monday ,22 we continued with "Práctica de aula 5" and we watched videos of presentations to practice.

On Tuesday 23 we finished Unit 3.We did the following exercises:

-Reading and comprehension: Marketing to teenagers.

         This is a very interesting text about teenagers that make a company.

-Then we find synonims for words of the document.
-Finally we did a listening of Bruno Tagliaferri that is a UK Sales Manager at Triunmph, the British motorcycle manufacturer.

Starting Unit 3!!!

Hi mates!!!

How was your weekend? Mine was fine, a bit cold in Ibi but ok.

Last week on Monday we finished the "Práctica de aula 5"  which dealt with the modal verbs and the phrases and idioms that are only used when telephoning.

On Tuesday 16 We finished the exercise of the Unit 2 Computers that is for the use of Do & Make.  After we started with prefixes and suffixes and did the listening of page 152 of RFID tags.

Finally started the UNIT 3 BUSINESS, and we did exercises of Brands.It was very interesting.

Hello ladies and gentleman!

         
This week on Monday i was sick and could not go to class, But my project team did the topics of the project about home automation.

        

  On Tuesday we continued with Unit 2 Computers and did the following activities:

• Correct the homework, Review of Computers
• We saw the Future trends issue related to nanotechnology
• And finally we reviewed  the use of DO &MAKE

Good terrifying day mortal souls.

Finish October and start halloween day On October 31st, English and American people celebrate Halloween,thought to be the one night of the year when ghosts, witches, and fairies are especially active.

Halloween is on the eve of a major Catholic festival, All Saints (1st November) and the eve of the pagan Celtic festival known as Samhain.

So on 1 th on Nobember we don´t have class.


On Tuesday we finished the festival and we started the classes.We continue with Unit 2 Computers with grammar and another topics related with informatics.

Hello people!

This week,Monday October 18, we have made the "Práctica de aula 3" that consist in Grammar revision: Verb tenses.
 We start different types of exercises eg.

-Active/ Passive Overview
-Present forms
-Present perfect or Past simple
-etc...

After we saw another video of a presentation to practise for the final presentation, this was very interesting.

 On Tuesday we continued and finished the Unit 2 Material technology.After a person of the class defined an object and the rest of the class had to guess what it was.It was fun.

Hi everyone!

This week we started the presentations in pratices class and then we learned the oral presentations:

-Making a good presentation
-How to introduce yourself and your talk
-Preparing and giving the introduccion.

We saw a video of a man that he does a presentation in Poliformat.





 
In normal class we started with Materials technology, in this subject we learned: Recyclable materials and read the text Green brakes consisting in ecological brakes.


The next week we will continue with unit 2 and the presentations and we´ll start "PRACTICA DE AULA 3"

First week in english class

Hello!

This week,on monday we learned the Unit 1 which deals with engineering materials.This subject is very important for the engineers because all jobs have feedstock materials.We study different types of materials ,their properties and uses.

I have always been interested in the different materials and I think is very interesting for my career to improve my level of English learning this types of subjects.

We continue on Tuesday with the Unit 2 Material technology.In this unit We´ll learn to describing specific materials, categorising materials, specifying and describing properties and finally to discussing quality issues.

My description

Hello everyone!

This is my first blog post ever, and I'm doing it because of the English subject of my University. I'm from Ibi (Alicante) and I'm studing electricity in Alcoy, as a technical engineering.

Firstly, I’m going to introduce myself: my name is Sergio, I’m 23 years old, I have always been interested in cinema, rock music, and technological innovations.

The reason why i'm taking these classes is that i think learning English is essential to enter in the working world. Especially for my career, I need to improve my level of English.
 
Last summer I traveled to Canada with a grant from the state, where some students attended classes. There were people from different countries, and we talked each other to practice our English skills. My objective is to have under control this language. That was when I decided to choose English in the second year of my degree. I hope with this subject, to focus on achieving this. To have a blog is part of the syllabus; I'm really interested in electricity, so you will see more post about it from now on.
